The hard walls of the Arctic Fox give it a permanent site-built appearance. It will allow you to paint and decorate it to give it your own custom look more easily. It will stand out, particularly if you have a campground you like to stay at regularly. The Nash, with its aluminum walls, looks like the travel trailer it is.
The available floor designs of both the Nash and the Arctic Fox are nearly identical. The major interior components such as the water tank are identical. The only real difference in maintenance is the walls. Think in terms of siding on a home. Aluminum siding can be simply wiped down. Hardwalls must be washed and painted. One advantage a hardwall has over aluminum is that if a leak develops, it will usually cause minor discoloration of the hardwall, giving you early warning before mold and mildew set it.
Hardwalls add a lot of weight to the trailer. An Arctic Fox with the same floor plan as its Nash counterpart weighs about 700 lbs. more. If you stick mainly with a single campground, that may not make much difference to you. If you like to travel with the trailer behind you frequently or for great distances, the reduced weight of the Nash will mean fewer stops at the gas station. If you are near the limit of your towing capacity, the lighter Nash may make the difference in getting the floor plan you want.
Though they have nearly identical floor plans, the Arctic Fox is the premium version of Northwoods trailers. Things that are optional on the Nash are standard equipment on the Arctic Fox. If you like a lot of options and higher grade materials, the Arctic Fox is probably what you would prefer, provided you don't mind carrying around the extra weight it entails.
