Fleetwood folding travel trailers are lightweight, towable trailers that fold out after transport to open up floor space and living accommodations. Many Fleetwood trailer models feature full sinks, gas ovens, showers, and stereo systems. Fleetwood trailers are also sold under the brands Avion, Prowler, Wilderness and Savanna.
Near the end of trailer production, Fleetwood featured a wide selection of folding travel trailers. The Destiny, Americana, and Highlander series led Fleetwood promotions for family-oriented, comfortable accommodations. The Scorpion and Evolution series were marketed toward off-road and heavy-duty applications.
In early 2009, Fleetwood announced the discontinuation of production of its travel trailer lines. The announcement coincided with Fleetwood's Chapter 11 Bankruptcy filing. Despite the cutbacks and bankruptcy filing, Fleetwood continues to produce limited edition RVs.
