    Niagara Falls State Park

    • Pets on leashes (no more than six feet long) or in cages are allowed in the park, and the park only allows household pets within the park. Pets are not allowed inside buildings, on boardwalks or on walkways that have been renovated. Pets are also not allowed on any of the attractions, including Cave of the Winds, Maid of the Mist and the Observation Tower. Guide dogs, however, will be permitted in all of these areas, but they must be identified via vests and harnesses. Pets are allowed everywhere else, including the grassy areas and around the picnic sites, but owners must clean up after their dogs. There are also many trails throughout the park, which take individuals through the forest areas around the falls and provide overlook points of the falls. If you and your family wish to visit any of these attractions, nearby kennels will accept day bookings.
