There are a number of attractions you would not want to miss. If it is a family trip, visits to Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom theme parks and water parks Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon are definitely required. The parks feature pony rides, tea parties with favorite fairy tale characters, carriage rides and a number of other attractions for little ones. Disney's Epcot is as much a children's attraction as it is for adults. It can take a day or more to experience every attraction thoroughly. Assess the number of days you have in hand for the trip and plan accordingly. While pre-planning tells you what to expect, be prepared to explore, discover and enjoy some attractions on the spot as well.
Make space for sunscreen lotions, a pair of swimsuits and walking shoes in your travel bag. Keep cameras handy. Families with infants need not worry about missing necessary baby things; you can purchase use-and-throw diapers, baby formula and teething rings at the parks. Baby strollers are available for rent. Special facilities for nursing mothers give them all the privacy and atmosphere they want. Diaper-changing stations and baby-feeding rooms with essential feeding gear are available.
Get to the park early so that you have enough time to adequately enjoy the first half of the day, have time for a hearty lunch and rest, and have more energy for the remaining attractions. Keep an eye on the tip boards in the park as they keep you well-informed regarding details on attractions, such as attraction start-times and the time participants have to wait for their turn; plan visiting other in-park attractions accordingly. Don't let kids wander alone. If you are going to visit attractions as individual groups, have your cell phones handy so that you can assemble at a set point. Do not forget to use the camera.
Wash off your appetite from the active time at the parks with a meal at any of the many Disney World restaurants. If you are calorie-conscious, avail of the health food options available at many restaurants here. For family visitors, special menus for children and facilities such as lift-up chairs are available. Leave kids to book-coloring activities available at several restaurants here while you enjoy an uninterrupted meal.
