Where do the people in Antarctica put their rubbish?

Antarctica is one of the most remote places on Earth, and because of this, there are no permanent human settlements there. The only real waste produced in Antarctica comes from research stations, which are home to scientists and other staff members who rotate every year. These research stations are supplied by ships and aircraft, which bring food and other supplies to the station and take away any waste that has been produced. All of this waste is then properly disposed of in accordance with international environmental regulations.
