Does it snow in San Antonio Texas?
While snow is rare in San Antonio, it does occasionally happen due to cold fronts pushing through the area from the north. In the past decade or so, San Antonio has experienced light snowfalls about six to seven times, typically lasting only a few hours or days. However, in January 1985, the city saw its most significant snowfall with an accumulation of more than 4 inches. While sporadic occurrences of minor snowfall may occur in San Antonio and surrounding areas, substantial and regular snowfall is uncommon in this region.
