How long will it take a particle of water to travel by ocean currents from Florida Madagascar?

Water does not travel from Florida to Madagascar by surface ocean currents as it is blocked by land formations as well as large rotating ocean gyres in both the Atlantic and Indian ocean basins that circulate water within their respective ocean basin. As well the ocean takes many thousands of years to move and is constantly evaporating and returning as precipitation into ocean basins. There isn't a continuous water path from the US east coast to Madagascar.
