Converting Acres to Vingas in Gujarat, India

Vinga is not a standard unit of measurement. There is no official conversion between acres and "vingas" in Gujarat or anywhere in India.

Traditional Gujarati land units include:

  • Bigha (~0.62–0.67 acre, varies regionally)
  • Vigha (same as bigha?)
  • Guntha (1/40 acre = 1,089 sq ft)
  • Hectare (metric, 2.471 acres) — now standard for records

"Vinga" may be a misspelling or hyper-local term. For legal/official purposes, use hectares or square meters. Consult local revenue office (Mamlatdar/Talati) for village-specific units.
