Israel and Africa: Why "Fitting" Doesn't Apply

A Category Error

The question "How many times does Israel fit into Africa?" reflects a misunderstanding of geography. Israel is a country in the Middle East (Western Asia); Africa is a continent comprising 54 countries. One cannot "fit" a country into a continent in a meaningful numerical sense.

If comparing land area: Israel (~22,000 km²) is about 1/140th the size of Africa (~30.3 million km²). But this is a simple area ratio, not a measure of "fitting."

Geographically, Israel borders Africa (via Egypt's Sinai Peninsula) but is not part of it.
