Where is Yugoslavia?
The country of Yugoslavia no longer exists. It was located in Southeastern Europe and bordered the Adriatic Sea. It was a socialist state from 1945 to 1992, and it comprised six constituent republics: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia (now North Macedonia), Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia. In the early 1990s, Yugoslavia experienced a series of ethnic conflicts and wars, which ultimately led to the dissolution of the country and the independence of its constituent republics.
