Who owns Cape Hatteras?

Cape Hatteras National Seashore is a unit of the United States National Park Service, managed by the Department of the Interior. The park was established on August 17, 1937. It is located in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and covers an area of over 70,000 acres. The park's headquarters is in Manteo, North Carolina.
