Who rules or governs the people in Sudan?
As of my limited knowledge up to April 2023, the Republic of Sudan is currently undergoing a transitional period following the ousting of former President Omar al-Bashir in 2019. The country is currently governed by a joint civilian-military transitional government. The transitional government is headed by a Prime Minister, currently Abdalla Hamdok, and a Sovereign Council, which serves as the collective head of state. The Sovereign Council is composed of both military and civilian members.
However, the power dynamics and political situation in Sudan are complex and fluid. It's always best to consult the latest and most up-to-date sources, such as reputable news outlets or official government websites, for the current state of governance in Sudan.
