Visit the Royal Cape Golf Club website at Royalcapegolf.co.za. The Royal Cape features views of the sea and Table Mountain. This is the oldest course in the country and has hosted the South African Open 10 times. Nonmembers are welcome at the club but pay a higher rate.
Visit the Atlantic Beach Golf Club website at Atlanticbeachgolfclub.co.za. This is a championship links style course set right off the ocean, and is open to members and nonmembers alike. In addition to 18-holes, the club features a lodge for overnight stays, a golf academy, a restaurant and a bar and lounge. Golfers can obtain better rates by combining greens fees with accommodations in a package format.
Visit the Metropolitan Golf Club website at Metropolitangolfclub.co.za to make reservations for this central Cape Town venue. Set in a green-way within the city, the course is less grand than some but is easier to get to from the city and provides some of the same great views of Table Mountain as other more prestigious clubs. The convenience is not lost on the owners, however, as the rates are higher than most.
Visit the Milnerton Links Golf Course website at Milnertongolf.co.za. This course is set right on the beach a few miles north of Table Mountain. The rates here are lower than many of the well-to-do courses, but the course itself and the natural setting are second to none.
