The Mongolian Plateau is a vast elevated region in Central Asia, bordered by:

• Greater Khingan Mountains (northeast)

It spans three nations:

2. China – Inner Mongolia (Ordos, Alashan, Loess plateaus).
3. Russia – Buryatia, Zabaykalsky Krai (Barguzin, Yablonovyy ranges, Vitim Plateau).
