Outdoor Water Parks in Michigan

Michigan boasts several outdoor attractions. There are state and national parks, wilderness areas and hundreds of islands. Michigan also includes parts of four of the five Great Lakes, but it's not just natural wonders that people enjoy visiting. Man-made water attractions are also a big draw. There are nearly a dozen water parks with more than just slides. They include attractions for young and old alike such as kiddy pools and lazy rivers.

    Rolling Hills Water Park

    • Rolling Hills Water Park is in Ypsilanti in the southern part of the state. Open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, visitors have plenty of options for playing and relaxing. Younger children may enjoy the activity pool which has zero entry, a kiddy pool, waterfall, geysers and bubblers. Rolling Hills also includes two spraygrounds which have slides, water falls, fill-and-spill buckets, a water umbrella and floor geysers. A sand play area includes oversized animal sculptures for kids to play on and in, spring riders and a shower to wash off the sand. The park also has a sun deck, shade umbrellas, first aid services, bathhouses and coin lockers.
