How to Convert a Nepali Date

Nepal, unlike most countries, uses its own unique calendar, the "Bikram Sambat." The current year in Nepal is almost 57 years ahead of the Gregorian calendar, with its new year falling in mid April. Nepali months are not a fixed length and change from year to year, ranging from 28 to 32 days. There are several websites that convert Nepali dates into the Gregorian calendar, and vice versa. India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Malaysia also use the Bikram Sambat.
