Austrian Airlines also offers connecting flights from New York's John F. Kennedy Airport to Tbilisi via Vienna. Aerosvit operates flights between JFK Airport and Tbilisi via Kiev. LOT Polish Airlines offers flights from JFK Airport and Newark to Tbilisi via Warsaw.
Fly to Tbilisi via Turkey. Turkish Airlines provides direct flights from Los Angeles, New York City, Washington and Chicago to Istanbul. Connecting flights to Tbilisi are then possible from Istanbul on Turkish Airlines.
Travel to downtown Tbilisi by bus or train. Tbilisi Municipality operates bus route 37 to and from Tbilisi International Airport between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 .p.m. Trains operated by Georgian Railway connect the airport and Tbilisi Central Station. Visitors can travel on to cities throughout the country as well as Baku, Azerbaijan. Taxis and car rentals are also available at the airport.
