How to Travel to the Republic of Ireland From London, England

The Republic of Ireland has the distinction of being the only country in the British Isles that is not part of the United Kingdom. Although it shares an island with Northern Ireland, the latter is part of the U.K., while the former operates on a different currency, different passports and different immigration procedures. Ireland, however, is one of the most easily accessible countries to Londoners wanting to leave the U.K.
