Like most Philippines beaches, the sands that stretch the shore of Hugon beach are white and soft to the touch. Hugon is located in the city of San Juan, and what gives Hugon beach the head above others is that it is virtually rock-free. Many beaches along the coast are home to coral reefs, however, under the water at Hugon is found only soft sand and smooth rocks. Swimming and snorkeling are preferred activities as a short distance from the shore there is a sudden drop off in the sea bed.
Rosegold beach is situated on the South China Sea and stretches a long strip of white sand. The water tends to be rocky the further out from shore one goes, but the trade off is the abundant sea life found around the natural (and many man-made) coral reefs in the bay. Snorkeling is a popular activity at Rosegold beach, as are other leisure water sports. Situated in the middle of the beach is the Rosegold Beach Resort offering full accommodation service in their floating above-water cottages.
Gerthel Beach is the most popular beach in the city of Lobo about three hours by car from Manila. The beach is a popular spot for its gradual drop in the seabed. White sandy beaches call loungers and swimmers from all over, as does the first class Gerthel Beach Resort.
