How to Go Clubbing in Singapore

Singapore's clubbing scene appeals to tourists who want to spend the night out on the town. Clubs and pubs have multiplied in Singapore, and they offer plenty of live entertainment and DJ's who promote local radio stations and the hottest records on the charts.

Instructions

    • 1

Head off to Singapore's popular clubbing locations, such as Orchard Road, City Hall, Chinatown, Clark Quay, Raffles Place, Mohamed Sultan and Holland Village.

    • 2

Enjoy a beer by the river. Take in the sites around Boat Quay and Clarke Quay while sipping beer at the Brewerkz microbrewery. The microbrewery offers a good selection of beers on tap and even has jugs available for thirsty patrons.

    • 3

Dance the night away at the Zouk Club on Orchard Road. The club is famous for its driving techno and house dance music. Zouk is also ideal for checking out the local clubbers and getting some tips on the newest hotspots.

    • 4

Slip into a taxi and hop over to Mohammed Sultan Road. This road has enough bars to satiate any club-loving bar crawler. Be ready to pay a cover charge for most bars featuring live music.

    • 5

Finish the night at Chijmes, which formerly was a convent school for girls. The colonial style exterior belies the hot nightlife inside. This spot is more laidback and subdued, but the clubbing scene here is perfect for making that end of the night hookup.
