How are the people in Simpson desert related to Australian desert?

There are no indigenous people living in the Simpson Desert as it is one of the hottest, driest and most inhospitable regions in Australia. Although, aboriginal clans living at the fringes often traverse to other areas in the desert to access resources when conditions permit.
