- Canadian federal government healthy living initiative that has been running since 1986
- Supports the Five Key Action Areas of the Ottawa Charter as the guiding framework for action.
- Mission of Life Be in it is to "*work with Canadians to transform the environments where we live, work and play to move the dial on obesity and chronic disease prevention.*"
- The federal government works closely with individuals and organizations from a wide variety of sectors including private business and industry, public health, professional associations, academia and community organizations to create environments that support healthy choices.
