Do you need an original birth certificate to travel Canada from us?

For travel within Canada, you do not need to carry an original birth certificate. A photocopy of your birth certificate is sufficient for domestic travel purposes.

Additionally, you can also present other valid government-issued documents, such as:

- Valid Canadian passport

- Enhanced driver's license/ID card from participating provinces(British Columbia, Ontario, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.)
