Photograph a panoramic view of both the Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls from the top of one of the tallest land points in Niagara, just outside the Hard Rock Hotel and the Niagara Casino. Stand by the outside entrance on Falls Drive to get the best overview of the falls. These spots will give you a great photo of both of the falls from a distance.
Proceed to walk down Falls Drive to the Skylon Tower. From here you will go up to the top of the tower, which is 775 feet above the falls. Walk over to the enclosed observation deck and take pictures of the falls from above. You will need to purchase a ticket to ride to the top of the tower.
Travel to 3731 Victoria Avenue in Niagara and purchase tickets for a Niagara Helicopter ride above the falls. From this view you will be able to take pictures from above the falls and panoramic photos from every direction of the falls.
Proceed to 6650 Niagara Parkway in Niagara Falls to visit the Journey Behind the Falls exhibit. From here you will be able to take pictures of Horseshoe Falls from the bottom of the falls. You will need to purchase tickets for this attraction.
Move on to the Whirlpool Jet Tours at 61 Melville Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake. From here you will be able to view the falls from the Whirlpool (where the falls dump into.) Take photos of the Whirlpool area and both falls during your jet boat trip. You must purchase a ticket for this attraction.
Travel over to the edge of the falls from city of Niagara. Lean up against the railing and begin to snap pictures. Walk along the trail and take pictures from the edge. Watch for outlook posts that have binoculars near the edge as these locations will provide you with up-close and detailed pictures of the falls. Here you can also take pictures of the falls at night or during the fireworks displays.
