      Take a scenic drive around the province. Regardless of where you want to go, you'll find ocean views and rugged coastlines. Eleven different scenic drives will take you to the Cape Breton Highlands, the Bay of Fundy and Peggy's Cove and other popular spots. If you like to ride motorcycles, you can rent one in Nova Scotia for your trip. Try the Cabot Trail during the fall for amazing fall colors.

      Reserve a spot on a wildlife tour. Whale and bird tours can be found in various spots around the province. See puffins, eagles and seals when you take a tour to Bird Islands. Many whale watching tours leave from Brier Island or Digby Neck. You may also spot moose and deer in Cape Breton National Park.

      Watch the tide rise and fall in the Bay of Fundy. This area experiences the highest tides in the world and each day over 10 billion tons of seawater flows in and out. Try rock hounding or fossil hunting at low tide or ride the tide back in on a raft tour. You may also want to pick a spot to watch the flow at both low and high tides to get a sense of the magnitude of the tides.

      Experience some of Nova Scotia's outdoor activities. Whether you like to golf, hike or soak up the sun on a beach, Nova Scotia has plenty of things for you to do. Hike Cape Split to see the Bay of Fundy, canoe in some of the interior parks, surf at Lawrencetown or seal watch at Kejimkujik National Park.
