Who built confederation bridge?
The Confederation Bridge was built by Strait Crossing Incorporated, a consortium led by Jan-Arend Drost and Peter Kiewit Sons. The Canadian government established Strait Crossing Incorporated in 1992 as a public corporation to build, operate, maintain and finance the bridge. The consortium was responsible for the design, construction and financing of the bridge, and it also operated the bridge until it was transferred to the Canadian government in 2019.
