In the summer months, visitors are able to enjoy a scenic ride on the Blue Mountain Summer Gondola run by Blue Mountain Resorts. Available for both pedestrians and bike traffic, the Blue Mountain Summer Gondola transports riders from the Village Events Plaza all the way to the top of the Niagra Escarpment. The Blue Mountain Summer Gondola is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from October through May. From June to September, the Gondola is open seven days a week. Check the website for exact dates.

Just east of Blue Mountains is the neighboring town Duntroon, Ontario, and the Highlands Nordic company. Highlands Nordic features Maple Syrup Drop In Tours during the winter months for the entire family. The maple syrup tour features an educational look at the different methods of making maple syrup. Guests of the self-guided maple syrup tour can either use snowshoes or follow a walking path, and they get to tap a tree, collect sap and visit the on-site maple syrup evaporator. The tour also includes a lumberjack meal of pancakes, sausage and maple syrup.
