Are the Rocky Mountains located in Canada or US?

The Rocky Mountains are a mountain range located in western North America. The Rocky Mountains stretch more than 4,800 kilometres (3,000 mi) from the northernmost part of British Columbia in Canada to New Mexico in the United States. Therefore, the Rocky Mountains are located in both Canada and the US.
