Who is the president of senate Bahamas?

The current President of the Senate in The Bahamas is Lashell Adderley. She was appointed to the position in May 2022 by Governor General Sir Cornelius Smith. Adderley has served in the Senate since 2017 and is a member of the Free National Movement (FNM). She previously held various ministerial positions in the Bahamian government, including Minister of Social Services and Urban Development, and Minister of Housing and Environment.
