Woodes Rogers' Burial: Not in the Bahamas
Two corrections:
- Name: Woodes Rogers (not "Woods").
- Burial: He died in Nassau, Bahamas on 15 July 1732, but was buried in England (likely at his family estate). His body was returned to England after death.
Rogers was the first Royal Governor of the Bahamas (1718–1721, 1728–1732), famous for suppressing piracy and rescuing Alexander Selkirk (model for Robinson Crusoe).
