Does the Gulf Stream flow through Scotland?

The Gulf Stream does not flow through Scotland. It is a warm ocean current that originates in the Gulf of Mexico and flows along the eastern coast of North America, extending as far as the Grand Banks of Newfoundland. The Gulf Stream does not reach the British Isles, and therefore does not flow through Scotland.
