Why are salt flats only found in the Mojave Desert?

This is not accurate. Salt flats are found in many deserts around the world, not only in the Mojave Desert. Some notable examples include the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia, and the Qaidam Basin in China.
