Atlantis Resort is home to the Ocean Club Golf Course, an 18-hole par 72 course with ocean views, which was designed by Tom Weiskopf. This course provides more than 7,000 yards of challenging terrain that includes rocks, vistas and water hazards. The ocean breeze keeps golfers in this tropical climate cool and the clubhouse offers drinks, snacks and light fare. You can sign up for lessons and buy golf gear at the pro shop too.
Guests at the Atlantis Resort get to choose from a variety of water activities, which includes snorkeling, scuba diving and even swimming with sharks. The resort's boats take guests out to explore the clear blue water, the reefs and the sea creatures that live off the coast of the Bahamas. Adventurous guests who enjoy vacationing on the wild side might try walking along the bottom of the shark exhibit, located in the Mayan Temple portion of the resort. Equipped with a clear glass helmet you can walk along the bottom of the shark's habitat while sharks swim above you, in front of you and around you.
The Mandara Spa offers guests a full menu of services such as a quick and rejuvenating facials or a full day of pampering. Couples services are also offered, including relaxing couple's massages and spa bath treatments. The spa also has a full service salon, where you can have your hair and make-up done or get a manicure or pedicure.
You can play a round of tennis on one of the resort's three har-tru courts or three hard courts. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, you can improve your game with daily clinics or private lessons.Junior summer tennis camps are offered from June to August.
