Carnival offers seven-day, round-trip cruises from Galveston to the Bahamas aboard its 13-deck, 3,000-passenger vessel. The ship offers a number of activities including arcades and water parks along with family and upscale private restaurants. All accommodations and staterooms are incredibly spacious and have private facilities, TV service, pay-per-view, telephone service and wireless Internet. The ship also has the majority of its staterooms on its upper decks for a more comfortable cruising experience.
Royal Caribbean also offers cruises from the Port of Galveston directly to the Bahamas. The 3,000 passenger ship offers numerous activities for tourists including a rock-climbing wall, ice-skating rink and multiple promenades throughout the vessel. There are also conference facilities for corporate groups, along with presentation and boardrooms. On the deck there's also a nine-hole miniature golf course and full-size basketball court and there's also numerous restaurants and even a casino. There's something for everyone whether traveling individually or with family.
Another favorite Carnival line, Ecstasy caters to the hip, youthful vacationing crowd. Facilities include youth space, an Internet café, a resort-style pool and water park for small children, and an adult-only retreat and spa. There's also numerous duty-free shops and a diverse range of casual and more expensive eateries along with some popular lounges and nightclubs. Though more upscale than Carnival Conquest, a trip on the Ecstasy is affordable for both for individuals and families and is reasonably priced.
