    • The Carnival Glory takes passengers on a six-day Bahamas cruise to Nassau, Bahamas. The cruise also makes a stop in Freeport, Bahamas. In October 2010, there will be three cruises offered aboard the Carnival Glory: Oct. 17, Oct. 23 and Oct. 25.
      The Carnival Glory cruise ship features a performance lounge, retail stores, restaurants, spa and fitness center, library, casino, dance club and Internet cafe.       The cruise ship has six types of staterooms: interior, ocean view, balcony, premium balcony, suite and penthouse suite.

    Destinations

    • Passengers who set sail to Nassau aboard the Carnival Glory will spend between nine to 10 hours there. The cruises also stop in Freeport, Bahamas. Passengers will have seven hours to spend in Freeport during each Carnival Glory cruise to Nassau. Once the ship reaches shore in Nassau, passengers can enjoy many activities. The Carnival Glory offers passengers three different shore excursions, including fun, relaxation and adventure. The fun excursion offers beach activities, dolphin encounters, snorkeling, fishing, shopping, biking and walking tours. Passengers who participate in the relaxation excursion can play golf, relax on a private beach, go on nature rides or walks, and go on historic tours of the island. The adventure excursion features motorcycling and ATV rides, kayaking, tank diving and other high-endurance activities.

    The Port of Virginia

    • The Port of Virginia features the Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center. The center opened in 2007. Since the center's opening, more than 230,000 passengers have passed through its doors, according to the Port of Virginia's website. In addition to Carnival Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean International calls the Port of Virginia home. Royal Caribbean International operates the cruise ship Enchantment of the Seas from Norfolk.
