Is Kuwait a ledc or hedc country?
Kuwait is considered a High-Income Economy (HIE) by the World Bank. Countries are categorized into income groups by the World Bank based on their Gross National Income (GNI) per capita. As of 2021, Kuwait's GNI per capita was $63,330, which is higher than the threshold for upper-middle-income countries but lower than the threshold for high-income countries. Nevertheless, Kuwait is often regarded as a high-income country due to its significant oil wealth and high standard of living.
