The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is dedicated to teaching the public the history and social significance of rock and roll. According to the museum's website, it spans 150,000 square feet with seven floors and five theatres for film. It has a number of permanent and temporary exhibits featuring iconic rock and roll artifacts. The museum has special collections of renowned musicians such as The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley.

Located outside of Akron, Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom is a fun attraction to visit during the hot summer months. It offers six water attractions, including a wave pool, water slides and splash pool. Food and beverages are available on the property. Visitors can buy a daily pass or a complete season pass for the whole summer. The water park also offers swimming lessons for children as well as a junior lifeguard program.

The Akron Zoo spans nearly 50 acres and features more than 700 animals from around the world. Some of the animals visitors can expect to see include the American bald eagle, the African lion, the Chilean flamingo and the Galapagos tortoise. According to the zoo's website, most visitors spend on average of 2 to 4 four hours at the zoo. The zoo also offers special behind-the-scenes tours, like spending the day with a zookeeper or joining a trainer for a day as they work with some of the animals.

Taste Ohio's wines at the Troutman Vineyards, located outside of Canton. The winery grows four different grape varietals--Vidal Blanc, Lemberger, Cabernet Franc and Traminette--and produces a number of white and red wines. Private tours and tastings are available.
