Fun Things to Do in Northern Ohio

Northern Ohio consists of eight counties near the Michigan border and off of Lake Erie. The area's most well-known city is Toledo, and it also contains rural sections. Although the Midwest region offers several attractions, Northern Ohio has its share of fun things to do for people ranging from history buffs to roller coaster lovers.
  1. Cedar Point

    • Some amusement parks only have one or two roller coasters. Cedar Point features 17 roller coasters, the most in any amusement park in the world, according to Cedar Point. In "Amusement Today"'s annual Golden Ticket rankings for amusement parks, Cedar Point had three in the "Top 10 Steel Coasters of 2009." The publication ranked the Millennium Force coaster second, the Magnum XL-200 ninth, and the Thrill Dragster as the 10th best. The park's other attractions include water rides, children rides, and slow-moving rides like a ferris wheel.
