For more than a century, the horticulturists at Washington Park have kept with the tradition of combining tropical plants with colorful annuals to create breathtaking works of art with flowers. Planted in patterns to create pictures on hillsides and mounds, the park is split into quadrants, each with a specific commemorative focus. At the city's greenhouse, more than 10,000 plants a year are propagated to populate the floral mounds and the hanging plants and decorative arrangements that beautify the entire city. It's a great place to stroll around and enjoy a picnic or one of the festivals and events the park hosts throughout the year.

Cedar Point has a reputation for thrill rides. In fact, "Amusement Today" magazine has named Cedar Point the Best Amusement Park in the World every year for more than ten consecutive years. In addition to the largest collection of roller coasters in the world, they also have tranquil rides, spinning rides, water rides, carousels and rides for small children.
