Clay's Park is a family fun center located in North Lawrence that opens every Memorial Day weekend and remains open throughout the summer. The park has a campground, water park and special events. Amenities include a heated indoor pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, 20-acre fishing lake, Ralphie's Sports Bar & Grill, tennis and basketball courts, live entertainment, hay rides, golf cart and bike rentals, themed weekends, and shower and laundry facilities. Water activities include swimming, kayaking, canoeing and water slides. The park features white sand volleyball courts, paintball fields, a children's playground, miniature golf and a skate park.

The I-X Indoor Amusement Park is located in Cleveland and offers activities for the entire family. The park has kiddie rides such as antique cars, mini Indy cars, a giant slide, a bumble bee ride and a balloon ride. Rides for the rest of the family include Freak Out, the Skater, Spinning Coaster and Vertigo. The park also offers games to play and win prizes. The Akron Zoo is home to more than 700 animals, including Humboldt penguins, snow leopards, Chinese alligators, Malayan sun bears, Sumatran tigers and jaguars. The zoo has family events such as Boo at the Akron Zoo, Senior Safari, Pajama Party and Snooze at the Zoo and Snack with Santa. Pajama Party and Snooze at the Zoo offers families a chance to sleep at the zoo. Reservations are required and families can camp out at the zoo. The snooze includes a light breakfast, behind-the-scenes tour, animal program, night hike, animal feeding, crafts and activities, and a late-night snack.
