The Thar Desert, also known as the Great Indian Desert, is situated entirely within the Northern Hemisphere. It spans a vast area across northwestern India and eastern Pakistan, covering parts of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab, and Haryana in India, and Sindh and Punjab provinces in Pakistan.
