Can you use the euro in Croatia?
Croatia joined the European Union (EU) on 1 July 2013, but it has not yet adopted the Euro as its currency. The Euro is the official currency of 20 EU member states, and Croatia is not one of them. Currently, the official currency in Croatia is the Croatian Kuna (HRK), which is divided into 100 Lipa. Plans for Croatia to join the Eurozone have been discussed, but no firm date for this has been announced.
