Three Goals of the Marshall Plan for Europe
The Marshall Plan (European Recovery Program, 1948–1952) aimed to:
- Rebuild war-torn economies to resist political instability and communist influence.
- Restore industrial and agricultural productivity and remove trade barriers among participants to spur economic development.
- Encourage economic and political integration among European nations.
