Why did Britain enter war with austria Hungary?
Britain did not enter World War 1 because of Austria-Hungary directly. Britain declared war on Germany when Germany invaded Belgium on August 4th, 1914 after failing to meet the ultimatum to leave Belgium. Austria-Hungary declared war on Russia which resulted in Germany then declaring war on Russia. Germany's invasion of Belgium is what brought Britain into the conflict.
