Is Yerevan in Asia or Europe?

Armenia lies in the Lesser Caucasus Mountain Range, and thus much of the country lies in southwestern Asia, but a small part of Armenia, north of Ijevan, lies north of the watershed, and thus is actually in Europe. So Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, lies in Asia.
