How to Hang the Romanian Flag

The Romanian flag is a national emblem for the country of Romania. It has 3 vertical stripes colored blue, yellow and red. These colors were found on the flag as far back as the 16th century. The flag has gone through a series of changes over the last 200 years. The basic tricolor flag that is used today was first adopted in 1866 but was adapted after World War II with the addition of a coat of arms. The plain flag was reintroduced in 1989.

Instructions

Choose a suitable date and location to hang your Romanian flag. National flag day in Romania is June 26. On this day, authorities and institutions are required to organize patriotic events and set up flags in order to highlight Romanian history and significant events.

Unfurl the flag to its full extent and lay the flag on the ground in front of you. The flag should be rectangular with length-to-width proportions of 3:2. Flags which do not adhere to the correct dimensions or are deformed in any way could lead to the owners facing fines.
