What design does Brazil country have on its flage?

Brazil's flag features a green rectangle with a yellow diamond set against a blue circle in the center. Inside the yellow diamond, there is a blue globe with 27 white, five-pointed stars arranged to reflect the position of the major stars in the night sky over Rio de Janeiro on November 15, 1889 - the date of Proclamation of the Republic. The motto "Ordem e Progresso" (Order and Progress) is displayed across the globe in green block letters.
