Where is the town la paz?

La Paz is the administrative capital and the seat of government of Bolivia. It is a department of Bolivia, and also the capital of the La Paz Department. The city is located on the western side of the Andes at 3,640 meters (11,942 ft) above sea level, therefore, it is the world's highest administrative capital.
