Owned and operated by the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, the resort and casino in Manistee, Michigan sits at the corner of US-31 and state Route M-22/Orchard Highway, halfway between Traverse City and Muskegon on the western side of the state. The shore of Lake Michigan is less than 15 minutes away.
Opened in 1999, the casino and resort has grown to a size of 23,000 square feet with a collection of nearly 1,500 slot machines. "We have expanded in multiple stages to what now includes, a beautiful 292-room luxury hotel, a 1,700 seat event center, and an expanding collection of slots and table games," claims the resort website.
Like most casinos, the resort is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and offers a lineup of concerts and entertainment featuring national, well-known performers from all musical genres. In addition to the resort hotel, an adjacent RV park welcomes travelers from April 1 through October 31.
