Tatiana Restaurant is an opulent and somewhat gaudy Russian dinner venue named for the beautiful hostess who makes the rounds on a typical evening. Touted as a high-class, formal establishment, Tatiana Restaurant's interior is tastefully designed with a healthy dose of flash, low lighting for privacy, and nightly dinner shows with dancing, Russian music, singers and strobe lights galore. After the show the DJ starts and the crowd begins to do their own thing fueled by generous libations of the vodka-based variety. The menu is extensive and features traditional Russian fare combined with new dishes that play on the old world.

New York's original infused-vodka bar is still going strong in Midtown west with an adult crowd who enjoys the elegance and the atmosphere of trendy patrons. While the food is very good and the menu has something for all tastes, the real draw here is the Vodka and how it is prepared. There are endless flavors like ginger, plum, tarragon, coriander, garlic and pepper. There is live entertainment, by Russian singers and musicians nightly except Mondays when the restaurant is closed. The owner Roman Kaplan says that the motto of the club is "Zastolye: lengthy joyous meals with lots of conversation and frequent toasts."

The extremely Russian restaurant and club Rossya is a touch of Moscow on the Hudson. Set in an over-the-top Russian-themed hall, Rossiya attempts and often succeeds to take visitors back to the days of Peter the Great. The cuisine is pure Russian with recipes and cooking styles directly from the recordings of Peter the Great's staff and chefs. Each night live Russian dancers in full regalia take to the stage and entertain. Russian singers take to the mic and sing a mixture of covers of famous old world Russian singers and new hits. The show is almost worthy of Vegas with elaborate lighting and a powerful sound system, and by the end of the night, the entire place is up and getting down all over the dance floor.
